Caccha's Labradors 2015 Breeding: Last Days

Here we are coming to our last day's together. It has been a fun week, and an adventurous week. Our routine is simple. Pups sleep in the kitchen at night, while we sleep in front of the fire (keep it going on the cold nights). We wake early, before sunrise, and pups are scurried into the tree room for breakfast. Usually I am woken up by little Halo's wagging body and kisses. The pups hang out in the tree room while I go to work, and upon my return its outside for a snow romp. Then scramble onto the porch for a porch romp, and crash in the upstairs bedroom until lunch, and then the entire process is reversed. Lunch, snow, play, tree room, and then into the kitchen. The pups have gotten to love to outdoors, regardless of the cold, so out they go whenever they can. Naturally much time is spent snuggling. OH, I love this bunch. Willow Sunshine becomes a pup herself and plays with her puppies everyday.

This past Wednesday was a hug adventure - first visit to the vet for first shots, every one is healthy. This was the first time for a long car ride in crates. The gang was rocked to sleep by the motion.

Tomorrow, sadly, we say goodbye to Ivy RicRac (LuLu) , and Silver/blue (Finn). Both heading off on a new adventure to take their people on a wonderful journey of a lifetime. Lulu will live in Vermont, and Finn only an hour away in New Hampshire. On Saturday Purple Lace (Izzy) will move on. She will be less than an hour away too. Then, it's Black boy (Chase),who will move to Mass. Not far away. Green and Gold (Grace and Halo) will happily remain home and become part of our clan.
